Ten Free Powerful Feng Shui Cures for Money
The energy, décor and furniture in your home represent your life and the things you love. When you decorate your house and you feel good about it, you know that you feel better and relax more when you are home. The better it feels the better it feels. You know when the energy is on or off.
Feng Shui tools add to our ability to work with the energy and to decorate and clean our home or office in a way that moves the energy in a way that feels better and also helps you to consciously create a better environment. As you place these items with care, intention and knowledge, you can adjust the flow of energy in your home.
In Feng Shui, the wealth area (called a gua) of your home is the back left hand corner or the house. To find it, stand in the front doorway and look to the very back left hand corner. This is the wealth area corner Add another 1/9 of the square footage of your home and you have the area representing, money wealth, abundance and blessings. The corner is the strongest anchor.

In Feng Shui the items we use in this area are considered cures. They are medicine for our wealth. Each area has an element and many cool things that we can do to enhance it.
Element: The element of the wealth area is wood. Therefore it is enriched by anything beautiful or useful and practical made of wood. This includes plants, flowers, wooden furniture, wooden art frames or tools. This is a place to choose wood over metal or plastic. Choose items that make you feel good, rich and empowered. If this area was my bedroom, I would choose a bed frame made of wood. You might choose to store some paper money there.
The Element of wood is fed by the element of water. In nature, a plant is nurtured and grown by adding water. Therefore placing a water feature in your Wealth Gua will help increase the flow of money to your life. If you have nothing else you can place a pretty wooden bowl with water there to add the element. Be sure to change the water frequently so it is never stagnant.
Color: The colors traditionally used to enrich this area are purple, green and gold. If your color preferences differ, use the colors that make you feel good and the most prosperous. These colors can be painted on the wall, or used in art and other décor.
Flowers: An abundance of flowers feeds the richness of life. There are some flowers that traditionally represent and enrich wealth: Money plant, horn of plenty, honeysuckle, orchids, especially Cataleya orchids and jade. Remove any sick or dying plants. Use thriving plants of any kind, as they are considered favorable.
Gems: Gems are great manifestation tools. Diamonds are called the master stone. If you have any diamonds, gems, or special jewelry that feels rich, this is a great place to store them.
Lucky Charms: This is the place for anything you consider, your lucky charms. If you have items that you treasure of have come easily to you and feel fortunate, you could place them here. Make sure there are no poverty symbols in the Wealth Gua.
Art: Traditional art from the Feng Shui realm are real, painted and sculpted fish, elephants with their trunks facing upward and horseshoes are said to bring good fortune. Six and eight-sided pavilions, gold, antique coins and cornucopias are classic cures to increase wealth. The main thing if that the items feel wealthy and good to you.
Mirrors: Do you bring in more than you need? If not, sometimes placing a large mirror in the corner to attract energy can change things for you.
Correct Any Negative Energy. Sha is negative energy. Sha is things like sharp corners that stick out and poke you, a table or chair that is in the wrong place, anything that gets in the way or a broken item. Fix, correct or recycle these things. Get rid of any clutter and keep things well organized.
Dead Corners: Look around this area for places where the light doesn’t shine and cobwebs build up. Turn on the lights. Get out the broom and send the spiders outside. Dead corners are places where the chi doesn’t flow so well. Use one of the energy moving cures in the next paragraph to send the stagnation running.
Energy Movers: Hang an energy mover like a wind chime, mobile or hanging plant to get and keep the energy circulating. These work especially well to cure areas that are hard to get to, where there is no path or usefulness, or where you have a dead corner of any kind.
If your style is Zen, and you have a few good things well placed and it feels good to you, you can call that good. The main thing is to enhance the flow of energy and make it feel useful and great to you.
